Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation in association with “Taiwan for Tamilnadu” Started Rural Tuition Centre at Vadakuthu village, Cuddalore district on December 2015.
Vadakuthu is a village positioned in Kurinjipadi Block of Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu. Located in rural region of Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, it is one among the 61 villages of Kurinjipadi Block of Cuddalore district. Around 500 families are there in this village. The mail livelihood of these families is fully reliant on agriculture.
About Centre: This centre is managed by the two volunteer Teachers Mr. S.Jothimurugan, MBA, M.Phill & Mrs. J.Selvabharathi, MBA. More than 50 (LKG – XII STD) students study in this centre. Students are coming from Panchayat Primary school -Ponnankuppam, Holy Grace Kindergarten School – Vadakuthu, Mullai Kindergarten School – Indranagar, Govt Higher Secondary School – Ponnankuppam & Vadalur, Govt Higher Secondary School Boys – Neyveli -10, Thiruvallur Matriculation School – State Quarters. Students are motivated and encouraged not only in academics but also in Community Development projects. Teachers taking special care and motivating Low Performers, Building Teams, Teaching discipline, Good Habits, etc…
Best Performer:I am R.Prithisha studying 9th STD in Govt Higher Secondary School, Ponnakuppam. My father Ramesh (late), My Mother Mrs. Shanmugavalli, working as Cooli. I am having one elder Brother and one elder Sister. I am good performer in my School as well as in Tuition Centre. I m good in academics and extracurricular activities, our Rural Tuition centre is more Supportive and encouraging to us. I thank Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation for this great opportunity and running Tuition centre for us. It is more useful for so many children’s in my village.
