PTF has been taking initiative, to go in for ISO certification for its major projects – YSD and FTC. On 6th August, 2012 the first ISO awareness programme was organized in Chennai (North Zone), and on 1st September the 2nd was held in Ariyalur (East Zone). Followed by these, a seminar was held on 15.09.2012 in Virudhunagar at V.P.M.M.  Arts and Science College for women. RPCs, DPCs and FTC teachers of Southern region in which totally 45 persons participated.

T. Karthi, ISO Consultant explained in detail on the main objectives of ISO:    Determination of Quality Policy, methodology to be evolved to work to achieve Quality Policy, employing the Human Resource available to this, measuring and continual improvements are some of the important points, the consultant elaborated.

“The main benefit and the lasting advantage of ISO certification will be that the Organisation will earn greater credibility, which will spontaneously prompt instant appreciation by the end users. Prominent among the participants are VPM Sankar, President VPMM College, P. Saravanan, Principal and PTF’s DHO and B. Vijay Anand, City Union Bank Branch Manager, Rajapalayam, D.V. Venkatagiri, Secretary PTF and S. Elamaran, DGM- Admin. FTC teachers shared their experiences in their centres.
