Alagiyamanavalam is a Village in Thirumanur Taluk in Ariyalur District of Tamil Nadu State, India. It is located 28 KM towards South from District head quarters Ariyalur. 13 KM from Thirumanur. 304 KM from State capital Chennai .This Place is in the border of the Ariyalur District and Thanjavur District. Thanjavur District Thiruvaiyaru is west towards this place. The village is a home for about 500 Families who are predominantly Daily wagers and Agriculture stands as their main livelihood.
About Rural Tuition Centre:
Foundation Started Rural Tuition Centre on December 2014, in associated with Bharat heavy electrical limited, Trichy. Nearly 70 (From 1st to 9th Standard) students are studying in this centre. These students are taking care under the supervision of Volunteer Teachers Ms. R.Pavatharini. Students are coming from nearby school of this village; Renga Primary School, Panchayat Middle School – Alagiyamanavalam and Paachur and Govt Higher Secondary School- Nallur.

Among the 70 students, A.Kannan, the Son of Mr. Arumugam, Farmer. Currently, he is studying 8th Standard in Govt Higher Secondary School. He is one of the bright students in our centre. He is very good in academic and other extra – curricular activities. In his family he is the first boy going to school. He is having one Younger sister and one elder sister. Teacher in this centre motivate and guide him to reach its goal.
