Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation is a people-based non-governmental organization, working for youth Development and Rural Education and established in the year 2010. As of August 2015, the people –based NGO has over 33,000 Members which includes District Honorary Organisers and Executive Members in each District.

 

The Foundation has been established to impart constructive thoughts in the minds of youth and engage in result-oriented community development projects. The Foundation runs awareness programmes on Road Safety, Health Camps, Tree Plantation, Education, Employment Opportunities etc.

 

The Foundation organizes Medical Camps in Rural areas with focus on areas like Eye-testing, Dental Care, Cardiac & Skin disorder, Ortho Care, Cancer Prevention and awareness for those who are needy and have no access to qualify medical care.

The Road Safety events that the Foundation runs, Stress the importance of adhering to traffic rules and give important tips on First-Aid. We organize awareness rallies, distribute pamphlets on Road Safety, conduct workshops for people with Traffic Police Officials & Road Transport authorities etc.

 

The Foundation has been conducting Tree Plantation events all over the state. We Plan to conduct more number of such events with a special emphasis on protecting the saplings and ensuring their growth.
