About Anbil Village, Tiruchi District:

Anbil is a village near  Lalgudi, located on the banks of the Kollidam  river, in Tiruchirappalli district. Anbil is considered as three separate villages by the Government of India, namely Jangamarajapuram, Mangammalpuram and Keelanbil. About 300 Families are there in the Village. The economy of the village is predominantly agrarian. Most of the youth take to agriculture. Despite this, there is a scarcity of labour for harvesting which is being alleviated by modernizing the methods of harvesting. The crops cultivated are primarily sugarcane and paddy.

About Rural Tuition Centre:

Puthiya Thalaimurai Foundation Started Rural Tuition Centre on December 2014, in associated with Bharat heavy electrical limited, Trichy. Nearly 60 (From 5th to 9th Standard) students are studying in this centre. These students taking care under the supervision of Volunteer Teachers Mrs. Radhai, B.Ed and Ms. Jayabaharathi, B.Sc. Students are coming from nearby school of this village ; Panchayat Primary School, Panchayat Middle School, Govt Higher Secondary School (Girls & Boys) and Sai Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

Best Performer:

Ms. Anandhi, 10th Standard studying in Govt Girls Higher Secondary school. She is Studying in this centre from 8th Standard. She is very good in academic and other extra activities.  She is hopeful of scoring very good marks in her Board Exam (March 2017).
